ClickBook is an application that enables you to print documents, books, PDF files, images, web pages, CD labels, posters, presentations, leaflets, cards, etc. The program intercept pages going to laser or inkjet printers and automatically rotates, reduces and realigns pages into the correct order to create double-sided booklets and brochures.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 12.0
ClickBook is an application that enables us to print documents, books, PDF files, images, web pages, CD labels, posters, presentations, leaflets, cards, etc. The first thing we need to do is set up the printers that we want to use. Next, we open the Windows application that contains the required document or any other item. Then, we select to print the document with the ClickBook printer. After that, the user interface will pop up for us to choose one of the layouts available. We can preview the document and proceed to print it. It is also possible to change the layout and view if we don't like it. In addition to this, we can create our own letterheads, forms. We can set to print the document directly by using one of the virtual printers that this program provides, including Quick 4-Up PDF printer, or Instant Book printer. At first sight, this program seems a bit complicated to manage, but we rapidly get to know how it works. One of the problems that I have encountered is that whenever I try to use this program to print a card showing one of my photographs (or other low size image), this program displays a message stating that the current version is not the correct version and I should use an older one. Another disadvantage is that we can only use this printing tool with Windows applications. For example, we cannot set to print a webpage unless it is opened with Internet Explorer. The good thing is that we can evaluate this program for free for 15 days. |
